Based on the idea and proposal, each challenge owner will allocate a suitable mentor(s) to further accelerate the development of the idea together with you.

There may be interim updates to be shared with your mentors to monitor progress, but there is no fixed template/output that is required from you.

The judges include the challenge owner company, Aichi prefecture government and ICMG.

Yes, you may apply your solution to more than one challenge statement. We encourage multiple submissions!

You will be informed via email after the submission deadline.


Only Challenge 3 & 4 are available for participation by students.

Any startup in Southeast Asia and Japan, that is a commercial entity is eligible to participate. Students are eligible to participate in Challenge 3 & 4

There is no fixed quota on the number of teams who will be eligible and selected for the program. The selection will be based on each idea and proposal received.

During the Co-Creation period, the mentors will be focused on the validation of the unique customer needs that will be addressed by the solution you proposed. Together as a team you will also validate the product-market fit of the solution through small tests.

After the Demo Day the challenge owners will deliberate internally with the management. Next steps will be decided after based on the circumstances of each proposal. To confirm with the collaboration relationship, challenge owners will seek to formalise the partnership through a MoU.
